Annual Prize
I learned practical aspects of engineering at Stoke-on-Trent technical college. I spent two years undertaking a workshop-based training course, following the Engineering Industry Training Board (EITB) syllabus. Alongside the hands-on work, I did one day of classroom-based training towards a Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) qualification.
The Tim Friesner medal (award) was awarded to the year’s most improved student.
Attending the Awards Event
There was an awards evening at the town hall in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, which I attended with my beaming mother 😀
